Kazakhstan decreases export of crude petroleum oils to Romania

Kazakhstan has exported 283,982 tons of crude petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 72.5 million euros to Romania in October 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 2.8 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 869.2 million euros to Romania from Jan. through Oct.2020.

Thus, the October volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Romania is 15 percent less than in volume compared to September 2020 (334,134 tons) and is 51.1 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (581,168 tons).

October export value is also 12.3 percent less than in September 2020 (82.7 million euros) and is 70.7 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (247.9 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Romania amounted to $1.1 billion over the first ten months of 2020, compared to $1.4 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Romania amounted to $1.07 billion over the period from January through Oct. 2020, compared to $1.3 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Romania amounted to nearly $63.1 million over the reporting period, compared to $73.5 million during the same period of 2019.
