Azerbaijan will ship 44,000 tons of Urals oil in February from the port of Novorossiysk, the sources close to the Russian port told Trend.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will ship 140,000 tons from the birth N1 of Novorosiysk port (on 23-24 February), which Tauras Petroleum, a Swiss trader, won in a tender, and 85,000 tons more, which belongs to Glencore, on 5-6 February. A batch of Glencore was left from January. It was to be unloaded on 30-31 January. However, the shipment was delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions, the same source said. In February the SOCAR will ship one more oil consignment of 60,000 tons from the pier N6-7.

The sources note, AIOC will ship one vessel cargo of 160,000 tons from the birth N1 of Novorosiysk port in February by two consignments each per 80,000 tons from the birth N2 (on 12-13 and 18-19 February).
