The next meeting of the BTC Co. directors is taking place in Baku. The issues of Baku-Tbilisi- Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline implementation and possible increase in its costs will be discussed at the meeting, Trend reports.
The Turkish company, Botas, involved in the pipeline construction at the Turkish territory is currently claiming BTC Co $400 million. It argues that some changes in the pipeline route, procrastinations and purchase of additional equipment have all led to the increase of expenditures.
Other contractors have claims to BTC Co. as well. They will be scrutinized and paid out in the case of their validity.
