The Chairman of Azerbaijan Parliament Permanent Economic Policy Commission, MP Ziyad Samadzade, said that Azerbaijan has been known in the European territory as a country which ensures its energy security.
According to Samadzade, there are indestructible relations between the economical development and energy secutiry. In addition, Azerbaijan has huge energy possibilities and development processes are going on in this respect. Module electric power stations have already been constructed and given into exploitation in the regions of Azerbaijan вЂ" in Astara, Sheki, Nakchivan and Khachmaz. All these will create new opportunities for strengthening and development of the energy base. The development of Azerbaijan economy increases the image of our country, Samadzade said.
According to him, despite that Armenia has occupied 20% of Azerbaijan lands, the accurate political course and successes of Azerbaijan is one of the key factors to return the occupied lands. Due to strong economical development, the occupant-country will have to go back because week Armenia can not fight with strong Azerbaijan, Samadzade said.
