Price of Azerbaijan Oil: Week Review (January 29th to February 2nd)

Last week (January 29th to February 2nd), the average price of AZERI LT (CIF) oil brand, Azerbaijan sold via the Georgian Ports Supsa and Batumi was $56.57 per barrel, which is up $1.47 a barrel or 2.66% up, versus the average price of the corresponding oil brand fixed in the previous week, Trend reports.

The maximum price on AZERI LT (January 29th to February2nd) was $57.64 per barrel against $55.98 per barrel last week. The minimum price was $55.31 per barrel against $54.08 per barrel last week.

On January 29th to February 2nd, the average price of the oil brand URAL (EX-NOVO), Azerbaijan sells via the Russian Port of Novorossiysk was $48.86 a barrel which is up $2.27 a barrel or 2.66% up versus the average price of the corresponding oil brand fixed in the previous week. The maximum price on URAL (January 29th to February 2nd) was $49.97 per barrel against $48.14 a barrel last week. The minimum price was $47.57 a barrel against $47.48 per barrel last week.

In this period the average price on the etalon oil brand Brent (DTD) was $56.01 per barrel up $1.05 per barrel or by 1.91% from the average price on the corresponding oil brand fixed in the previous week. Last week, the maximum price on Brent was $56.99 a barrel against $55.92 per barrel, the minimum price was $54.84 per barrel against $53.88 per barrel last week.

The density of Azeri Light is 34.6 degrees by API, the sulfur content is 0.14%. The density of URAL is 30.4-31.85 degrees by API, sulfur content is up to 1.8%. However, during selling this oil brand, its specifications vary depending on prevailing oil brands of high-quality or poor-quality in its content. The density of DTD is 38.3 degrees API, its sulphur content is 0.36%.
