Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 5 June, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovnak Abdullayev, met with the delegation from Verbundnetz Gas Company headed by the Director on Gas Purchase, Tony Filipp, who arrived in Baku to participate in the 14th International "Caspian Oil Exhibition which began on 4 June in Baku, a source in Baku said.
Filipp said during the meeting that his Company is interested in co-operating with SOCAR because there are many opportunities in the gas industry. Abdullayev highlighted the importance of conducting the oil and gas exhibition and conference in Baku to establish co-operation with companies involved in this sphere. The SOCAR head stated that every proposal presented at the meeting will be studied by the specialists.
