Georgian insurance companies see increase in compensated damage

Georgian insurance companies compensated damage in the amount of 90.7 million lari ($28.5 million) in the 1Q2021, Trend reports via the National Bank of Georgia.

As reported, this is 11.1 million lari ($3.4 million) more than in the same period of 2020 (79.6 million lari/$25 million).

In the first 3 months GPI-holding led in terms of the reimbursements volume with $23.4 million, followed by Aldagi (11.8 million lari/$3.7 million) while in the same period of last year GPI Holding was the market leader.

The third place in the rating is taken by TBC-Insurance (10.9 million lari/$3.4 million), the fourth is Imedi L 10.7 million lari/$3.3 million) and the fifth is Ardi with 9.2 million lari ($28 million).
