Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Azerbaijan will discuss the issue of an electronic postal order service in compliance with Secured Transfer of Electronic Financial Information (STEFI) with Iran.
Novruz Mammadov, the head of postal sector of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Azerbaijan, said on 9 October that it will be possible during the 4th meeting of the postal administrations of the Economic Cooperation Organization participating countries which began in Baku on 9 October.
"We will try to reach positive results," he said.
Currently the Enterprise carries out postal money transfers through the STEFI system with Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and United Arab Emirates. Such services are also planned to be realized with France, Estonia and Middle Asian countries.
