Azerbaijan’s Sumaks company has presented the second updated version of Avtomax car trackers, Javid Mammadov, the company’s head, told Trend.
Avtomax devices are designed to determine the location of mobile objects - trucks or cars, he said.
“The second version is more advanced,” he noted. “In terms of functionality, it may not be much different from the previous version, but the technical component of the product has changed. For example, the SIM900 module used in the earlier version was replaced by the more functional SIM800 module. We also changed the microcontroller to a more advanced version, and this allowed making the device more compact.”
The next stage of improving the tracker involves the use of technologies even more advanced and relevant as of the time of production, which will make Avtomax a fundamentally new product, he added.
The Avtomax software platform makes it possible to monitor vehicles, their speed and stopping points, control fuel costs, improve the discipline of drivers, etc.
