The Azerbaijan Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov, said on December 21 that the Ministry is preparing proposals regarding the creation of the special economical zone (SEZ) for the development of the high technologies, Trend reports.
According to him, the pack of proposals will be submitted to the Parliament by the end of March. During the preparation of the proposals, the experiences of the leading international organizations are utilized.
The SEZ project envisages creating technical parks for the development of the small and medium innovation entrepreneurship, creating regional base from the production and exportation of the electronic equipments, transforming the country into Data Center, preparing and developing human resources for the formation of the information society, as well as applying the ICT in other spheres such as health and agriculture.
