The President of Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiev, signed the law on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on the state frontier check points, Kazakhstan Today reported citing the press service of Kyrgyzstan president.
According to the press service, the agreement was signed on December, 25th, 2003 in Astana. Zhogorku kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan ratified the agreement in March, 2009.
According to the agreement, 12 check points, 11 of which - automobile, one - railway will be opened on the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakh border.
