The Kazakh Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund will participate in developing science in the country by providing young scientists with financial support, the fund said.
"Samruk-Kazyna will create 20 monthly scholarships worth $1,000 each for the most promising young scholars in 2012, whose works have been recognized in Kazakhstan and abroad," the report said.
The report added that all national companies will join in this initiative and create their own scholarships for young scientists.
