BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Volume of oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 7.1 million tons in February 2022, which is 5.4 percent more than in February 2021 and 9.1 percent less than in January 2022, Trend reports citing Kazakh Committee on Statistics.
Volume of production in the first two months of 2022 amounted to 15.02 million tons, which is 8.8 percent more than in same period of 2021.
Some 5.8 million tons of this volume were exported in February, which means an increase of 11 percent compared to February 2021 and 1.7 percent more than January 2022.
Within the period of January through February 2022, exports amounted to 11.6 million tons, which is 11.5 percent more than in same period of 2021.
A total of 1.2 million tons were sold domestically, which is 14.5 percent less than in February 2021 and 38.4 percent less than in January 2022.
