BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 5. Kazakhstan's gas production in value terms from January through October 2022 amounted to 259.9 billion Kazakh tenge ($554.4 million), Trend reports, citing the National Bureau of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
This constitutes a 1.5 percent decrease compared to the same period of 2021.
Around 43.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced during the reporting period, which is also 1.5 percent less than a year before. Meanwhile, some 25.7 million cubic meters of associated petroleum gas were extracted, which is 2.9 percent less than in the first ten months of 2021.
In Kazakhstan, 4 enterprises are engaged in the production of natural gas.
