(Kazinform) - Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science held a roundtable on the necessity to introduce international standards into carrying out of scientific research, the so called good laboratory practice (GLP). Kazakh, Russian and American scientists took part in the seminar, reports Trend.
General Director of the National Center of Biotechnologies Yerlan Ramankulov told about GLP, order of realization of scientific research and some requirements such as qualified personnel, carrying out of exact statistics, provision of necessary equipment and etc.
Vice Minister of Education and Science stated that for previous 4 years KZT 1 million had been invested into technique for laboratories. He also noted that the Ministry was financing 51% of scientific works. We have 7 centers on different sciences such as biology, metallurgy, geology and others, National Center of Biotechnologies and National Scientific Informational Center, he added.
