Tajik delegation consisting of Tajik Migration Services under the ministry of foreign Affairs and representatives of health ministry on Tuesday left for Moscow to attend meeting onf the working group on implementation of Tajik - Russian agreements in labor migration, reported CA-NEWS.
Possible effects of the world financial crisis that may affect labor migrants and reduction of quotas for migrant workers by 50% introduced by Vladimir Putin, the Russian Prime Minister will be discussed at the meeting scheduled for 23-24 December, informed ministry of International Affairs.
According to official figures currently over 600 thousand Tajikistan's citizens are in labor migration, 20% of which are women.
