Turkmenistan discloses export transactions at State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 15

The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange exceeded $29.5 million last week, Trend reports referring to the official Turkmen media.

Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Switzerland, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased refined heating oil, jet fuel and refined diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries for foreign currency.

Moreover, carpets of the Turk­men­ha­ly State Association, as well as clear glass products of the Turkmen Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, were sold for foreign currency.

The UAE businessmen bought carpets worth 19,000 Turkmen manat ($5,440).

The Turkmen businessmen purchased high-pressure polyethylene, carpets and cotton fiber. The total amount of transactions amounted to 30.6 million Turkmen manat ($8.7 million).

In total, 38 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange last week.
