BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. Uzbekistan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) amounted to 627.5 trillion soums ($56 billion) from January through September 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
From January through September 2022, inflation rate reached 8.1 percent.
During this period, the main parts of the GDP made up industrial products (391.9 trillion soums or $35 billion), agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (248.6 trillion soums or $22.2 billion), followed by consumer goods (137.4 trillion soums or $12.3 billion) and construction work (94.1 trillion soums or $8.4 billion).
In 2021, GDP of Uzbekistan amounted to 734.6 trillion soums ($65.7 billion) which is an increase of 21.9 percent compared to the previous year.
