Iran will suppress any threats - Iranian army general

Iran will suppress any threats, Commander of Iranian Army's Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmadreza Pourdastan said prior to Friday's prayer, Fars reported.
"Any upcoming threat to Iran will be suppressed," he noted.
Pourdastan also noted that Iran's army is getting stronger with each day.
Yesterday, Pourdastan said that IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guards Council) and Iran's Army will hold joint military exercises this year, for the first time since the Islamic Revolution.
Pourdastan noted that the IRGC and Iranian army will hold joint Air Force maneuvers. He also added that other eight military exercises will be held in different parts of the country, using real ammunition.
"The exercises will be executed in real conditions, so that our army forces could experience real environment", he said.
General also noted that Iran will install a new fire control system on country's Zulfigar tank, adding that this modification will help Iran's tank to rank higher among world's best tanks.
