Iranian army has equipped its military aircrafts and fighter jets with 200km-range "Qhader" missiles, Fars news agency reported.
Qader missile has been built by Iranian scientists and has a high destructive ability against coastal targets and warships. The missile, which has been unveiled in 2011, has a range of 200 km, and is described by Iranian officials as "the most powerful and precise missile of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy".
The missiles have the ability to be installed on warships, helicopters, and fighter jets as well.
Qader is a surface-to-surface missile, coast-to-sea missile, and is also capable of being launched off the flying aircrafts.
It has a digital autopilot system, high precision navigation system, and is possible to detect enemy aircrafts flying below radars.
For the first time Iran test-fired Qader missiles off the fighter jets about a week ago during the National Army Day celebrations in Iran.
Iran also test-fired the Qader missile in January 2013 on the fifth day of the Velayat 91 military maneuvers.
Spokesman for the Velayat 91 naval drill Rear Admiral Amir Rastegari said at the time that Qader cruise missile had successfully and precisely hit and destroyed its mock enemy target during the exercises.
