( IRNA ) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed Thursday that no bullying power can damage the Iranian nation's rights and interests.

Addressing a large gathering of residents of the provincial city of Larestan, he said the Iranian nation believes in administration of law and logic and has never violated rights of other nations. However, he added that the Iranian nation will teach a good lesson to aggressors.

The bullying powers think that they can create discord among Iranian people by issuing statements and launching psychological warfare, he said.

The Iranian nation considers making use of nuclear power for peaceful means as its inalienable right, therefore, will not withdraw from this legitimate right and insists on its rights with tied fists, the president reiterated.

The united Iranian nation will resist until it can obtain all its rights, he stressed, adding that the Iranians will not withdraw even by one step.

The bullying powers, who are against progress and development of the Iranian nation, want the Iranians to remain in poverty, ignorance and backwardness, the president noted.

President Ahmadinejad and members of his cabinet arrived in Shiraz, capital city of Fars, Monday morning on a five-day visit.

The president's current visit to this southern province is his 27th to various provinces of the country since the start of his initiative of bringing the government closer to the people.
