The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 22:
Export floor: Offers 400 tons of bitumen and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 90,823 tons of polymers, vacuum bottom feed stock, lube cut oil, sulphur, heavy paraffin wax and slap waxes.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 20,000 tons of steel bloom, 40,000 tons of SM slab, 1,980 tons of iron beam, 600 tons of aluminum billet, 1,000 tons of aluminium ingot and 3,500 tons of cement.
Agriculture floor: Offers 8,000 tons of wheat, 170 tons of large lentils, 4,400 tons of sugar, 2,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 5,000 tons of feed barley, 15 tons of rice and 2,397 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 500 tons of palm oil from Malaysia, 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium as well as 1,150 tons of metal scraps and 20 tons of citric acid.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
