Over 5 months 3 tons of needles imported to Iran

In the first five months of the year (starting March 21) 2,973 kilograms of needles for sewing machines were imported to Iran, according to the Iran Customs Administration’s statistics on foreign trade, Mizan Online News Agency reported.
This volume was imported from three countries - China, Japan and Turkey. Japan exported to Iran 2,141 kilograms of needles worth $69,956,000.
In the first half of this year (since March 21), 72,864,000 tons of products were imported and exported from Iran while 90 percent of imported goods passed through customs procedures within three days.
The value of imported and exported products in the past six months amounted to $45.305 billion. The value of non-oil export is $23.123 billion, while the value of imports - $22.182 billion.
Ninety percent of products passed through e-customs procedures, while the supply of the remaining 10 percent of products has been delayed due to incorrect code or the companies’ announcement.
