Deputy minister: Necessary to ink transport deal to increase sales in Iran’s Chabahar

A regional transport agreement should be signed and implemented on simplifying and accelerating the cargo transportation and travel deals with neighboring countries in order to increase sales markets in Iran’s Chabahar city, Trend reports citing Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Planning of Iran Shahram Adamnejad.

He made the remarks at a meeting with deputy ministers and heads of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran, according to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Planning of Iran.

He said that great progress has been made in investments in the projects being constructed and commissioned at the Chabahar Port.

It is important to pay special attention to private sector investments in order to ensure the strategic equipment needs of the port in the loading and unloading of goods, he noted.
