Iran's Golgohar railway network construction has reached a 92-percent progress, by utilizing some 900 tons of rails, manufactured by the Isfahan Steel Company, said the governor of Sirjan (Kerman Province of Iran), Sohrab Bohaoldini, Trend reports via Tasnim News Agency.
"The construction of Golgohar railway network includes infrastructure and pavement," said Bohaoldini.
"The infrastructure includes earth work operation and installation of technical buildings, bridges, underground conjunctions and overpass conjunctions," he said.
Bohaoldini added that the carried out earth work cost some $9.5 million.
"By using 900 tons of rails from the Isfahan Steel Company, Golgohar's railway network now has 75 kilometers of railways ready," he said.
