On Thursday, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jantoro Satybaldiyev presented to the staff of the Ministry of Finance new minister Olga Lavrova, the governmental press service said on Thursday.
The prime minister noted that the new Minister of Finance is a professional financier and has extensive experience in this field.
"Only four months left before the end of the year, and we need to solve the problem of a huge budget deficit of over 23 billion soums," the prime minister said, instructing the new minister within three days to make proposals to reduce the deficit.
Then Satybaldiyev presented to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the new Minister Erlan Abdyldayev, to the staff of the Ministry of Social Development - Kalykbek Sultanov, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation - Chyngysbek Uzakbayev and discussed with them pressing issues of social sphere and agriculture.
The previous government of Kyrgyzstan resigned in accordance with the law after the collapse of the parliamentary majority coalition.
