Russian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to France Aleksey Meshkov announced that three Russian ships and a yacht were forced to stop in France, Trend reports citing TASS.
“Three Russian ships and one yacht were forced to stop,” the diplomat told Rossiya-24 TV channel.
The ambassador added that in principle, the French territorial waters for the Russian ships today are similar to the territorial waters of Somalia because the ships are stopped without any explanation, then the ships are searched, nothing is found during the search.
“Everything is sent to the judicial structures and when the judicial structures make some decisions, of course, no one can predict,” Meshkov said.
