The Israeli oppositional politicians demanded immediate resignation of Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister, in connection with the results of the war in Lithuania in 2006 developed by t independent commission, AFP reported.
According to Silvan Shalom, the representative of Likud centre-right political party of Israel, the report is a conviction which shook all political elite of the country.
"Olmert has to answer for beginning and defeat of the war. He has to resign immediately," Zahava Gal-On, representative of Merets centre-left political party, considers.
The Prime-Minister stated that publication of the report developed by the commission under the chairmanship of the former judge Eliag Vinograd, cannot be a reason for resignation, Lenta.ru reported.
