VICTORIA BECKHAM is reportedly set to make her acting debut in new movie HARDY MEN - after she was personally hired by the film's star TOM CRUISE, the CM reported.
At her recent 34th birthday party (20Apr08), the singer was said to have been left speechless after Cruise surprised her with an invitation to design the costumes for the forthcoming picture.
And according to British newspaper The Daily Express, the Top Gun star has also asked Beckham to make a cameo appearance in the film, which is a spoof of children's book series The Hardy Boys.
Beckham showed off her acting abilities last year (Nov07) when she appeared in hit TV series Ugly Betty as a bridesmaid to Vanessa Williams' catty fashion boss character, Wilhelmina Slater.
