At least two people became victims of hostage-taking in a kosher shop in the 20th district of Paris on Jan.9, Agence France-Presse (AFP) said, citing a source close to the investigation, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

Earlier, it was reported about one injured in a smirkish, arranged by the criminal who took hostages.

A new skirmish occurred in the 20th district of Paris on Jan.9, at least one person was injured.

The skirmish occurred at the store that sells kosher products, according to the channel.

The same attacker, who shot a female police officer and road service Jan.8, may have opened the fire, the French media reported.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. local time.

An unknown man in a flak jacket opened fire at the police officers on Jan.8 in the morning, leaving one guardian of order and a fellow of road service injured. The attacker has already been detained. No information has been provided about the motives of the assault.

Earlier on Jan.9, it became known that the French investigators have established a link between the brothers Said and Sheriff Kuashi, who were the likely participants of the attacks on Charlie Hebdo editorial staff, and the suspect in the shooting of a policewoman in the Paris suburb of Montrouge - supposedly, the three suspects were familiar with each other and belonged to the same organization of jihadists, which operated in the northeast of the French capital.
