The value of export of grains and legumes from Turkey to Turkmenistan dropped by 32.3 percent from January through March 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, settling at $4.71 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In March 2021, Turkey’s exports of grains and legumes to Turkmenistan decreased by 22.1 percent compared to March 2020, settling at $1.96 million, the ministry said.
In the first quarter of 2021, the value of grains and legumes’ export from Turkey increased by 11.7 percent over the year, amounting to $2.02 billion.
Turkey exported grains and legumes worth $784.3 million in March 2021, which is by 24.2 percent more than in the same month of 2020.
Turkey’s export of these products amounted to $7.5 billion over the past 12 months (from March 2020 through March 2021).
