The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) will carry on consultations with the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Within the framework of the visit one such mission was held, the Minister of ED Farhad Aliyev told Trend.
"We will go on with consultations and hope to coordinate the approach. The coordinated approaches we plan to discuss during the last meeting on 30 August”, Aliyev said.
It should be noted, the mission’s work headed by the deputy director of the IMF department on Middle East and Central Asia Vitali Kramarenko started on 24 August. The visit will last till 31 August. The mission’s goal is the assessment of the fiscal policy and major structural reforms of the government of Azerbaijan.
