Russian gymnast Anna Korobeinikova has won gold in the tumbling competition at the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling in Baku Feb. 19.

She scored 69.700 points after two exercises.

Portuguese gymnast Raquel Pinto, scoring 66.000 points, won silver and South African athlete Bianca Zoonekynd won bronze with 65.900 points.

The second day of the new Olympic cycle’s first World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku Feb. 19.

The finals in men’s and women’s individual and synchro pairs programs in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling are taking place Feb. 19.

In the finals, Azerbaijan will be represented by Ilya Grishunin and Oleg Piunov in men’s trampoline synchro pairs programs and Sviatlana Makshtarova and Veronika Zemlianaia – in women’s trampoline synchro pairs programs.

Ilya Grishunin will also take part in the trampoline individual programs in the World Cup finals.

Azerbaijan will be represented by Mikhail Malkin on the tumbling track.

Eighty-five gymnasts representing 15 countries are taking part in the World Cup.
