STRONG CHESS TOURNAMENT IN DORTMUND STARTED

A very strong chess tournament in terms of its participants, of the 19-th category, with the average coefficient ELO 2711 started in the German city Dortmund.

Such elite grandmasters as Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), 2778, Peter Leko (Hungary), 2763, Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), 2753, Michle Adams (England), 2737, Etienne Bacro (France) 2731, Peter Swindler (Russia), 2725, and the Dutch Luc Van Veli, 2687, a Baku native and currently representing Israel, Emil Sutovsky, 2665, the Danish grandmaster Nilsen, 2653, and the tournament’s host, Arkadi Neidich, 2626, will take part in the tournament, Trend reports.
