The new BP office is an expression of the high level of development of Azerbaijan and its oil-gas sector, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists during the opening ceremony of the company's new office in Baku.
According to him, the conditions under which our oil workers are working are indicators of great successes achieved in the implementation of large oil projects and high level of income.
Rovnag Abdullayev stressed that as a result of the successful implementation of oil strategy under Ilham Aliyev's leadership, Azerbaijan has tuned into a recognized participant in the world energy market.
"SOCAR, BP, and their partners will try to use Azerbaijan's oil and gas opportunities in favor of the nation and the state in the future," Rovnag Abdullayev added.
A new BP office was opened in the Port Baku Complex on Friday. The office is located on the 5th to 14th floors of the 16-storey building and is equipped with the most modern equipment.
