Tehran hosted today a ceremony of signing of cooperation agreement between Iran's Gold, Silver and Precious Stones Producers and Exporters Union and Istanbul Chamber of Jewellery, iribnews website reported on March 1.
The agreement envisages cooperation in holding joint exhibitions, exchange of economic information, holding round table meetings for elimination of problems in trade, as well as cooperating in gold and jewellery production and export.
Gold worth $1.7 billion was exported from Turkey to Iran in 2013, according to the Iranian media.
