The shareholders of Tajikistan's Rohun hydropower plant project elected new members of the project's observation council, Avesta.tj reported on Feb. 11.
The council consists of the country's Prime-Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda, first vice Prime Minister Davlatali Saidov and other high level officials on the level of ministers and committees' heads.
Rohun Hydropower plant is one of the main potential energy projects of Tajikistan. The implementation of this project causes serious discontent in Uzbekistan and it is considered one of the objects of the Central Asian water dispute.
