Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Orazmuhammet Charyyev has been appointed the country's Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov signed a corresponding decree.
OIC comprises 57 countries with the population of about 1.2 billion people. The organization's headquarters is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
