President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met French counterpart Francois Hollande in Vilnius.
They praised development of the Azerbaijan-France cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, energy and culture.
President Francois Hollande said Azerbaijan's economic achievements were followed with great interest in France. The presidents noted that the French companies were successfully operating in Azerbaijan, expressing confidence they will expand their activities.
The two leaders noted there was mutual interest in expanding the bilateral ties between the two countries, and stressed the importance of developing the Azerbaijan-France cooperation within the European Union.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Francois Hollande also discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and other issues of mutual concern.
