Trend: Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office has send appeals to Russian and Turkish Prosecutor General's Offices with regard to the crimes committed against Azerbaijanis in Russia and Turkey, Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office said on November 8.
Acting Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Rustam Usubov addressed to the Prosecutor Generals of Russia and Turkey with regard to the facts of public humiliation and violence with bodily harm of 14-year-old Rovshan Kazimov, on November 1 in the Russian city of Zelenograd and murder of 49-year-old Saida Eyvazova in the Erdek district of the Turkish Balikesir city on November 7.
In his appeals Usubov strongly condemned the illegal actions committed against these persons, and underlined that these actions caused a wide resonance in the society.
The appeals strongly emphasized that the perpetrators of these crimes must be hold criminally responsible. The Prosecutor General's appeals also said that the investigation of these criminal cases should be taken under special control providing the rule of law, and should be conducted fairly and objectively in line with the requirements of the criminal procedural law and international law.
