Iranian deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will leave for Istanbul tomorrow for consultations with Turkish officials over the humanitarian crisis in Syria, IRNA reported.
He will visit Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Omar Unhun.
The deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Syria and the upcoming international conference on Syria are among the main topics to be dealt with during his stay in Istanbul.
International Conference on Syria will be held on January 22 with the participation of representatives from several countries, the Syrian government officials and opponents.
