Syrian opposition delegates in Geneva deny they have agreed to the evacuation of women and children in central Homs, dpa reported.

"We continue to demand that the siege of Homs is lifted and aid supplies reach the besieged areas of the old city of Homs," opposition delegate Anas Abdeh said.

"There is no truth to the rumours that we requested arrangements to permanently evacuate civilians from besieged areas. Our objective is the lifting of the siege in stages, nothing else."
