The Georgian patrol police urged citizens not to travel by cars in some mountain passes due to unfavorable weather conditions.

The vehicular movement in Rikota, Goderdzi, Tsalka-Ninotsminda and Kobi-Gudauri passes was limited for all vehicles, the Georgian Interior Ministry reported today.

The vehicular movement will be open in the afternoon only for the cars with anti-skid chains.

According to the report, the ban remains in force for heavy vehicles and cars with trailers.
