Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri met with top officials of the International Monetary Fund in Tbilisi on March 7.
Khaduri hosted IMF Middle East and Central Asia Department Director Masood Ahmed and the representative of the IMF in Georgia Azim Sadykov, the ministry told Trend on March 7.
The parties discussed prospects of long term cooperation between Georgia and the IMF.
Khaduri gave details to the Fund representatives about the macroeconomic parameters and economic situation in the country.
Ahmed will also meet with the Georgian prime minister, government members and the leadership of the National Bank.
