A gas pipe feeding a power plant which supplies the Syrian capital with electricity has been blown up near Damascus, a military source reports, Voice of Russia reported.
"The explosion took place in Deir Ali, five kilometers away from Damascus's international airport. The city has been left without power. The flames of the burning gas are seen from many parts of the capital," the source stated.
