OPEC oil basket's price stood at $33.33 per barrel on Apr.4, or $1.14 less than on Apr.1, the cartel told Trend Apr.5.
The OPEC Reference Basket (ORB) is made up of the following oil brands: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
Global oil prices are continuing to fall on Apr.5 as investors doubt that the upcoming negotiations of the largest oil producers to freeze oil output to be held Apr.17 in Doha, Qatar will be successful.
The price for June futures of the North Sea Brent oil mix decreased by 0.58 percent - up to $37.47 per barrel, while the price of May futures for WTI oil decreased by 0.95 percent - up to $35.36 per barrel Apr.5 as of 11:12 (UTC/GMT+4 hours).
