Azerbaijan, Barda / Тrend corr Sh. Jaliloglu / An incident took place during the construction of a settlement for internally displaced persons in the Azerbaijani Fizuli region resulting in the death of 2 people.
Workers in a construction site suffocated with carbon monoxide poisoning. The were identified as displaced persons from Azerbaijani Agdam region Jahangir Mammadov, 37, and Samir Huseynov, 24. In the early hours of 29 November they used pieces of wood to light their stove which contained hazardous substances. They suffocated as a result of inhalation of the gas.
The Fizuli Region Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case.
