Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayeva / On 23 November Baku will host talks on the development of trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovenia. The talks will be held during the one-day visit of Andrea Wiziak, the Slovenian Minister of Trade and Industry to Azerbaijan, Borut Megushar, the Slovenian Consul to Azerbaijan, stated.
The visit program will include meetings with Ali Abbasov, the Azerbaijani Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development, as well as Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the consul said.
The Slovenian Minister for Industry and Trade, together with the Azerbaijani Minister for Communications and Information Technology will tour Shemakha to attend the opening of the telecommunications center, operating on equipment supplied by the Slovenian telecommunications company Iskratel at which time it is planned to sign an agreement on further cooperation between the Azerbaijani Communications Ministry and Iskratel.
