Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Khamvari, the head of Imdad, a humanitarian committee of Iran named after Imam Hossein, arrived in Azerbaijan on 26 November.
The Azerbaijani representative of the committee said that during the visit the head of the committee intends to meet with Ali Hasanov, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Committee on Refugees and Internally Displaced People, Artur Rasizade, the Premier as well as Oktay Asadov, the Parliament Chairman.
During his visit the head of the Committee will participate in a conference dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the Azerbaijani representation of Imdad.
The representation of the committee has been active in Azerbaijan for 14 years and is involved in low-income Azerbaijani families, refugee problems and internally displaced people who have been driven out of their native land as a result of Armenian aggression.
