Territorial Problems of S.Caucasus Countries to be Discussed at International Conference

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The international conference dedicated to security in Turkey, South Caucasus and Europe, to be held in Tbilisi in March 2008, will discuss the problem of territorial integrity of the countries, Nabat Garakhanova, the Secretary General of International Association of Young Diplomats, Businessmen, Scientists and Lawyers, an organizer of the event, informed Trend.

The conference is held within the framework of the 3-year project. The first event was held in Istanbul. The gathering also focused on the cooperation of the Azerbaijani territory.

The international conference due in Tbilisi on 26-28 March will discuss energy security, territorial security and the role of international organizations and the United States in the South Caucasus. The event will bring together representatives from NATO, the European Union and other international organizations, as well as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and the EU member-countries.

Garakhanova said that in 2009 Brussels will host the last international conference. As a result of three-year project it is planned to publish a book.
